Welcome, friend! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’ve always had a passion for “making a home.” Whether it was cooking the perfect meal, endlessly rearranging my childhood bedroom, or swapping out seasonal decor, I loved creating spaces that felt cozy and inviting. These days, not much has changed—except now, I’m remodeling the house my husband and I spontaneously bought sight unseen and hosting memorable dinner parties for our family and friends.

In 2022, my husband and I traded Chicago for the charm of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Since then, we’ve been slowly transforming our first home, with plenty of help from Vino, our lovable German Shorthaired Pointer. Balancing full-time jobs keeps us busy, but we find time to tackle projects whenever we can—whether it’s a free evening or just 20 spare minutes. And of course, I’ve kept my love for cooking alive. Over the past two years, I’ve even created some of my favorite recipes yet.

Here’s a little more about me:

  • I grew up in Northeast Ohio.
  • My husband and I have been together since 2004.
  • I love wine (but only good wine!) and prefer European varietals.
  • I’m a fitness enthusiast.
  • I can’t help but redesign almost every room I walk into.

Now that you know a bit about me, I’d love for you to pull up a chair and join me at my table as we transform this house into a warm, welcoming home—one project and one recipe at a time.

Right now, things are still pretty minimal around here—I’m new to this and figuring out what works best as I go. But a few programs I’ve already come to love in these early stages are:

– Canva Pro

They’ve quickly become essentials in my creative toolkit, helping bring a little polish and personality to this passion project.

This is all new for me—Fauxtalian Living is my little creative escape from the world of sales. As much as I love the hustle, there’s been this itch to tap into my creative side… and voilà, here we are!

It hasn’t been all smooth sailing (hello, learning curve!), but honestly, every challenge has been a reward in disguise. I’m excited to take you along on my home renovation journey, sprinkle in some design inspo, share my favorite finds, a meal or two and hopefully give you a few good laughs along the way.
